Being in the valley pleases God
for faith in God is keen
although answers are not yet shown
spiritually they are seen

these low points that we all go through
are valleys long and dry
with obstacles to encounter
of some we wonder why

God knows exactly where we’re at
He takes us by the hand
through the ordeals of life’s rigor
we’re stronger in the land
____
for life is a hardship journey
full of grievous sin
but God has given man His word
for us to live for Him
____
words of comfort and compassion
full of grace and wisdom
shows us hope by some examples
how victory brings freedom

thank God there are valleys in life
a place where we can grow
watered and fed by God’s own hand
it’s Him we come to know
____
God proves us when we are humble
refines us in His fire
in the valley of our faith walk
He always takes us higher?
